What is Poly Patao Productions?
Founded by Ignacio Rivera, Poly Patao Productions is dedicated to producing sex-positive workshops, performance pieces, play parties, panel discussions, teach-ins, social/political groups and educational opportunities that are specially geared toward queer women, transgender, multi-gender, genderqueer, gender non-conforming and gender variant folx of color. Projects of P3 have been Shades of Poly (a NY based social group for Polyamorous queer women & transgender folx of color), Four-Play, a people of color/ and ally traveling play party, Desire and PHUK it!.
Who is Ignacio?
Ignacio is the founder of Poly Patao Productions. He is a Queer TransEntity, Black Boricua performance artist, lecturer, activist, self-proclaimed sex educator and sex worker. He is the host of Desire and PHUK IT! and a co-host to LIMBO. As a sex worker he is a Pro-Dom and is working in the adult film industry. She can be seen in his debut performance in Pink and White Productions, In Search of The Wild Kingdom and has worked with Morty Diomand of Tranny Fags on a Trans Entity: The Nasty Love of Papi and Wil. Ignacio debuted his first adult short about moving from normality into kink, called Crossing at Black Pride 2007.
Ze has currently embarked on a long-term film project, "Shades of Kink" a series of educational/documentary style films around inserting a racial/class/sexuality and gender analysis into the Kink world.
Ignacio is also one of the founding board member of Queers for Economic Justice, a progressive non-profit organization committed to promoting economic justice in a context of sexuality and gender liberation.
